It seems that people are already expecting that Playgirl magazine will eventually get in on the controversy about Prince Harry‘s naked photos in his hotel room in Las Vegas.
Just around 48 hours after the photos of royal redhead Prince Harry’s family jewels were leaked all over news websites, the publisher of Playgirl magazine, which is the for-her counterpart of the nude magazine Playboy, says that he thinks Prince Harry would be the perfect person to follow in the footsteps of Duchess Kate Middleton’s cousin by stripping down for a spread — most likely the centerfold for the magazine.
Playgirl magazine publisher Vincent Stevens told E! Online: “I think what we all started to decide right away was just how much money the offers would go out for him.”
“There’s no way in the world that he would ever consider this but you’re talking about numbers in the six figures right off the bat,” Stevens added, saying that Prince Harry would be the perfect fit for the pages of Playgirl magazine.
“He’s a wild party guy,” the publisher added. “He’s appealing to a lot of people because, although he’s from the royal family, there’s sort of this untamed nature to him. I think that’s something that’s really attractive to our readers and to the general public. He can’t be contained by the royal family. He’s just a free spirit.”
While Playgirl magazine is said to have not contacted Prince Harry with any formal offers to pose for the nude magazine, Stevens revealed that the 27-year-old hunk could really make a pretty penny for taking it all off, this time, with clearer photos.
“I think the bidding would start in the low six figures,” publisher Stevens says, adding, “I think a million dollars is not out of the question.”
Meanwhile, another magazine which focuses on female readers is also weighing in on Prince Harry’s royal jewels.
“I’m not sure his mum would approve,” Adam Steck shared, producer of Australia’s Thunder From Down Under magazine, which treats their Las Vegas fans to stripped-down Aussies and New Zealanders. “Even though [Prince Harry]‘s not Australian he’d be an amazing addition to our cast!”
