‘Peep World’ star Michael C. Hall, 41, took his new girlfriend, book critic Morgan Macgregor to the Emmys red carpet Sunday night, where the couple decided to proclaim their relationship to the world.
Michael C. Hall and his new ladylove, Morgan Macgregor linked their hands as they walked the red carpet at the prestigious, 64th annual ceremony which was held in Los Angeles.
The Emmys was the first public event that Michael and Canadian book critic Morgan Macgregor attended together, and the blonde beauty is also said to be Hall’s first romance since his divorce with Carpenter.
The ‘Six Feet Under’ star looked nervous at first, but Michael C. Hall eventually loosened up after spotting some fans who were there to support him at the red carpet, the actor waving while Morgan Macgregor walked beside him.
The new couple are said to have started dating earlier this year, and it seems like Michael and Morgan are taking another step into their relationship by appearing at a public event together.
Blonde beauty Morgan Macgregor donned a simple black dress with silver straps on her red carpet appearance, beaming at her TV star beau while they posed for photos.
The book critic carried a small purse with a bohemian print and matched her black dress with a pair of black, strappy high heels, with Michael C. Hall never letting go of her hand.
Meanwhile, the ‘Dexter’ star looked dapper in his classic black and white suit which he matched with a grey tie.
The actor made an appearance at the Emmys as he was nominated for ‘Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series’ for his role on the Showtime series ‘Dexter.’ Unfortunately, he lost out to Damian Lewis, who plays Nicholas Brody on the thriller series, Homeland.
Michael C. Hall plays a forensic specialist named Dexter Morgan who works for the Miami police department. His character also works as a serial killer on the side.
Michael filed for divorce with his ‘Dexter’ co-star Jennifer Carpenter at the end of 2010 after just around two years of being married. Their divorce has been finalized one year later.
Jennifer Carpenter, who is said to be still close to Michael C. Hall plays the role of Dexter Morgan’s adopted sister, Debra Morgan on the popular drama series.
The actor has also been married once before tying the knot with Carpenter. Back in 2002, he married theater star Amy Spanger, with their marriage lasting for around three years.
Earlier this month, Michael reportedly sold the Hollywood Hills estate that he once shared with his ex-wife, Jennifer Carpinter for $2 million.
